Where do I go from Here?

Pronouns

A great battle was won tonight,
A triumph not attained by me,
It was my savior who fought,
And delivered the victory.

Sin has the power to steal and kill,
And my flesh, not the power to withstand,
For I am illprepared and weak,
My own body I cannot command.

The strength to wield my will,
I have little of,
Until Christ apears,
Redeeming the cursed, with his love.

He is my sole protection,
My defender and shield,
It was for my folly,
That He Himself was killed.

Unsecured without Him,
In Christ, is my only play,
Left to myself,
My "self" will lead astray.

I must press onto battle,
Striving and preparing each day,
Looking to Christ in dark times,
For he is my hope and stay.
